Blasick Orthopedics is a product of God’s timing and providence. Dr. Blasick and his family moved to the Waco area in 2016 after he completed his residency training program. Dr. Blasick started with Advent Orthopedics in November 2016, which unfortunately closed in 2018 where he transitioned to Elite Sports Medicine. Elite Sports also unfortunately closed at the end of 2019. Dr. Blasick and his wife believed God was leading them in the direction of opening Blasick Orthopedics as a stand-alone orthopedics practice. In spite of the difficulties associated with each of these transitions, Dr. Blasick is proud to continue to serve the city of Waco and the surrounding communities. His goal is to serve God by serving people and to do it the right way – God’s way. This is the making of “Authentic Orthopedics”. God and people come first; family, patients, and staff.
Authentic Orthopedics
“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
- 1 Timothy 1:5
"as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:" - 1 Peter 4:10
We offer full-service general orthopedics, ranging from total joint replacements of shoulders, hips, and knees to sports medicine procedures with arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, as well as basic hand procedures such as carpal tunnel releases, trigger finger releases, and base of the thumb replacements. We treat fractures, tendon and ligament tears, and multiple other conditions within the orthopedics practice.
We offer a superior physical therapy department designed to help people return to their lives safely, appropriately, and efficiently. Therapy is indispensable to orthopedics. They go hand in hand. They can treat patients post-operatively for the procedures performed by Blasick Orthopedics, as well as those performed by any orthopedist in the area. Surgery is not necessary in order to utilize our therapy services, however. Our physical therapy department is full-service, treating non-operative arthritides to back and neck pain to sports injuries to hand conditions.
